Try this easy and quick Italian Pizza Rustica recipe, filled with ham and cheese and drizzled with De Nigris Platinum Label Blasamic Vinegar for even more taste.
Ingredients for 8 People
- 2 rolls of readymade puff pastry
- 5 oz. Emmental (Swiss) cheese
- 7 oz. Roasted ham
- 2 cups Ricotta cheese
- 2 eggs + 1 yolk
- Salt, to taste
- Chopped parsley, to taste
- Olive oil
- De Nigris Platinum Label Balsamic Vinegar
For the recipe
Take the Emmental (Swiss) cheese and roasted ham and cut them into dices.
Place them in a bowl and add ricotta cheese, eggs, sea salt flaks and chopped parsley.
Mix all the ingredients until well blended.
Grease the oven tray with the olive oil and then place the first sheet of puff pastry.
Riddle it with a fork and pour all the mix on top.
Make it as even as possible with a spoon before placing the second layer of puff pastry.
Cut and remove the puff pastry in excess and fold the first layer on top of the second one.
Brush the top with egg yolk and cook it in the oven at 400° F for about 35 minutes.
Once ready add a generous drizzle of De Nigris Platinum Label Balsamic Vinegar on top!
