Refreshing and tangy cucumber and onion salad, perfect for summer picnics featuring De Nigris Rosé Sweet Vinegar!

Ingredients for 2 People

  • 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup Rosé Sweet Vinegar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill (optional)

For the recipe


In a small bowl, whisk together the Rosé Sweet Vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and black pepper until the sugar is dissolved.
In a large bowl, toss the cucumber and red onion slices with the dressing until everything is well coated.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
Just before serving, sprinkle with fresh dill (if using).
