Make your mixed drink more exciting with De Nigris Rosé Sweet Vinegar  and Rose-Strawberry-Rhubarb Shrub for a sweet and sour taste.

Ingredients for 2 People

  • 2 oz gin or vodka
  • 1.5 oz Rose-Strawberry-Rhubarb Shrub (recipe follows)
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • .5 oz simple syrup
  • 1 cup diced rhubarb (about one medium rhubarb stalk)
  • 1 cup turbinado sugar (sugar in the raw)​
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries (stems removed)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup De Nigris Rosé Vinegar

For the Rose Strawberry-Rhubarb Shrub:

Combine rhubarb, strawberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan over low heat. Simmer for 15 minutes, muddling fruit as it softens. Remove from heat and let cool. Strain out the solids, pressing to release all of the syrup, and set the sugar syrup aside. To this rhubarb-strawberry sugar syrup, add an equal amount of De Nigris Rosé Sweet Vinegar (should be around 1 cup). Store in the fridge until ready for use. Note: If rhubarb is unavailable, use double the strawberries as a substitute (2 cups total).


Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until very cold, about 15 seconds. Double strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with mint, strawberry slices or whatever your heart desires!
